Faisalabad Thallian Tarujabba White Oil Pipeline

Pakistan is longitudinal market for petroleum products with ports located in south and bulk consumption in north. Currently, Pakistan imports 60% of its Oil Products which are transported till Faisalabad through pipeline. However, from Faisalabad onwards to central and northern parts of the country all these products move through oil tankers which is a major cause of shortages and environmental hazards.

The FTT-WOP Project is of vital national importance, which will complete the backbone of the country pipeline from Karachi to Peshawar. It includes interconnection of oil depots at Faisalabad Thallian (Oil Village) Chakri Rawalpindi, Attock Refinery Limited and TaruJabba (Peshawar) Oil Depots through a pipeline of approximate length of 477 km. Major portion of this pipeline i.e. approximate 390 km length is proposed in the ROW of Motorways (M2 & M1) and the rest of pipeline is proposed in the ROW of local highways, canals and drains.
